Stalham's Brass Band Week, October 2016
This year's Brass
Band Week at Stalham Brass Band was packed with events. James Stretton started
the week with a master class for the band from senior players to beginners at
Stalham Academy.
A fun-packed day with serious training in musicianship.
Players on the Brass training scheme in the area schools came together mid-week for a CD recording session held at Stalham High School.
On Friday, relaxation, with senior and junior band players and families visiting Taverham Band once more, for a fantastic concert.
The week ended
with a hard [but enjoyable] day's workout with members of the Leyland Band
taking a masterclass.
A great group of tutors and a fantastic selection of music to work on including
'A Moorside Suite', 'Behold The Power of God' and the Grand Contest March 'The
Wizard'.
